COLOR ME RAD NAILS

I decided to do my nails for the Color Me Rad 5K that I did with my mom and some friends on 12/08/12. I have also included a photo of me after doing the 5K.

Metallic Orange with Black and White Stickers

I did a metallic orange base and put black and white stickers on them for flair!

Pink/Orange & Black Shredded

What is really funny about these nails is that the Shredded part is actually supposed to be black but the polishes seem to have had a reaction to each other and the black turned a brownish color. 

POLISHES

 Here are all of my polishes. 

Purple & Orange Shredded

I started out with an orange background and added on top the purple shredded (crackle) polish. I finished it off with a quick drying top coat for a glossy finish.

Blue and Orange Fishnet Tips

I started with an orange French tip and layered a blue fishnet design made with the salon effects kit. Please excuse the other paint colors you may see on my nails/hands I was painting some artwork.

Purple & Orange

Purple background with orange stripes. I did this for Halloween 2011. The purple ended up looking like black from far away but I think they were pretty cool. 

Red/Orange/Yellow

The background is a reddish/orange with a yellow flower & white design stickers.

Orange & White Zebra

I happen to love this orange and white zebra print made with the salon effects kit. 

PINK & ORANGE

Dark pink back ground with orange tips. The stickers on the big toes were a white butterfly/flower with an orange stone.

Swirl Effects - AVON

I found this technique on the AVON website (which I love). I thought I would try it as it was one of my favorites. Each nail is different so I have posted both hands this time. 

Orange Stars

This is a bright orange with metal silver stars.

Autumn Bloom Sparkles

This is a shiny golden orange with blue glitter on top. On the thumbs I put the 3D art of three blue flowers and a white and blue butterfly.

Tangtastic Disco Ball

I called this one Tangtastic Disco Ball because those are the name of the two colors. The Tangtastic is the orangish-red color and the Disco Ball is the glitter on top. I covered the glitter with a clear top coat.
